Moss removal from block paving

Clearing moss and weeds from block paving

 · 1 min read

Lack of maintenance on block paving causes a build up of moss in between the blocks.

It can also stop drainage from occurring in blockwork

This looks un-tidy and can create a slippery surface.

We suggest a regular sweeping regime to maintain block paving.

Once the moss is established we are able to remove it by using specialist brushes, either pedestrian or vehicle mounted, depending on the size of the area.

These machines are used to sweep out the moss and other debris caught in between the blockwork.

Then a different machine can be used to collect the debris from the surface.

Ideally the filling from between the blocks need replenishing to help prevent re-growth and aid in drainage.
